Anycubic launched two new 3D printers: the Kobra 3 Combo and the Photon Mono M7 Pro.
The Kobra 3 Combo is a powerful FDM printer with the highlight of using up to 8 colors simultaneously. Features like active drying and filament recognition ensure smooth printing. It boasts a maximum speed of 600mm/minute and is supported by the Anycubic App and Slicer.
For resin printing, the Photon Mono M7 Pro sets a new standard for precision. It achieves high speeds (up to 170mm/h with high-speed resin) and exceptional detail (14K precision, 13312x5120 resolution). Advanced features like dynamic light output compensation and temperature control ensure consistent, high-quality prints.

NASA tests 3D printed Orion rocket engine (3 minute read) - Link
NASA is testing a 3D-printed component for the Orion spacecraft's next-generation engine. This injector, crucial for delivering fuel and thrust, was successfully tested at White Sands Test Facility.
The injector was 3D-printed using selective laser machining, a technique that could revolutionize engine development by reducing costs and speeding up production.
The successful tests pave the way for incorporating this injector design into a full engine that will undergo further testing before powering future Artemis missions beyond Artemis VI.

Ingersoll Rand Leads $19M Round Backing Inkbitās AI-Driven 3D Printing (2 minute read) - Link
Inkbit, a company that makes multi-material 3D printers with AI integration, has secured $19 million in funding. A giant in the industrial equipment sector, Ingersoll Rand, led the round. Inkbit's technology allows manufacturers to move from prototyping to production using the same system. This is a perfect fit for Ingersoll Rand, which supplies a wide range of equipment to factories.
The partnership will focus on developing new materials and processes for 3D printing. Inkbit hopes to learn from Ingersoll Rand's vast manufacturing experience. For Ingersoll Rand, the potential to improve robotics with 3D printing is a key driver of this partnership.

š Cool 3D Prints
For anyone whoās lost the nozzle to their compressed air can, essentially rendering it worthless, this is for you. Not only is it great if youāve lost the nozzle but seems like an overall better nozzle/straw to use your air can with. You may even be able to print in TPU to make a flexible nozzle.
Gridfinity M3 Bolt Sorter (LayerLux3D on Maker World) - Link
A cool little idea! Ever find it hard to know exactly what length your M3 bolts are when youāre deep into a DIY project? This can help you sort them all out. Check out the GIF at the link above to see how this allows the bolts to roll down the ramp until theyāve found the perfect length slot to drop into!
