Katalyst Labs Introduces AI 3D Design Assistant - Link
Katalyst Labs introduced a new 3D design assistant called KATALYST. This AI-powered software allows users to create 3D models with simple text commands. Instead of manipulating a design, users can type instructions like "make a planetary gear with 6 planets."
KATALYST can also handle complex assemblies and lets users adjust parameters like dimensions. Changes are recorded and can be revised later. Additionally, the software can export models in various formats for 3D printing and plans to integrate with AM platforms for a smoother workflow.
Overall, KATALYST offers an easy way to create complex 3D models with text commands and promises future updates for even more advanced designs.

This has a kind of cartoony wood aesthetic that I know is perfect for some our reader’s desk decor. With six compartments and a 7 inch by 7 inch foot print, this is a beautiful addition to anyones desk. Go with a “wood” colored outer shell and a black inner shell to achieve similar results!
